Is your child aged 4-7 years old and navigating their gender journey? Join Seanna, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, and Megan, qualified play therapist, for a 6-week supportive group designed to foster connection, confidence, and guidance for transgender children and their parents.

For Children:

Our children’s group will focus on therapeutic play and provide a supportive and affirming space. Your child will have the opportunity to explore their inner world, build friendships and connect with other gender diverse children, bringing forth a sense of connection and inclusion.

For Parents:

Our parent’s group provides a space for open conversation, sharing experiences, and gaining insights into the challenges and joys of raising a gender-diverse child. This group will help you connect with others, share resources, and learn from one another as you support your child's unique needs.

Details:

~ Where: The Courageous Space (314 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo)

~ When: Thursdays, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (from 10th July - 7th August 2025). Groups will run from 4:15 - 5:15 PM with social time for mingling before and after.

~ Who: This group is for gender-diverse children aged 4-7 years and their parent(s). Limited to 4 children their parents to ensure a personal and supportive experience.

~ Cost: $960 for the full 6-week program or $160 per session. Full commitment is required for a consistent experience; missed sessions are still payable. Medicare rebates may apply - contact us for details or flexible arrangements!
